Gloria Estefan habla con las “Damas de Blanco” y de su querida Cuba. Aparte de admirarla como cantante y gran ser humano, siempre me ha inspirado la pasión con la que defiende sus ideas y nunca guardar silencio por temor a su imagen y/o carrera artística.
Es un honor poder haberla conocido en persona en más de una ocasión. Y puedo decir que su humildad la hace aún mas grande. Tras muchos años de haberla seguido como cantante y ser su fiel fan, puedo decir que fue un tiempo muy bien invertido.

I deleted the other message u sent me, but I read it. That’s so cool!!! And yeah, Gloria is awesome! Have been her fan since forever… and those are many many many years ago, but that’s ok, I was barely 4 years old. Awesome concert she did for the PBS special. I cannot wait for her new album, “The Standards” out on September 10th.
I never thought I’d be lucky enough to see these two of my idols (Gloria Estefan & Dave Koz) together on stage…. but it happened last night at the PBS special concert for Gloria’s upcoming album “The Standards”. It is indeed a multilingual album, as my favorite person, Gloria, sings in spanish, english, french, italian and portuguese!!!
The album drops September 10th and will include favorite songs as: Good Morning Hearthache, Embraceable You, What a Wonderful World, Smile among others. Definitely a not to miss. CANNOT WAIT!!!
So… I want to go to Gloria Estefan’s PBS taping concert for her new album “The Standards” so bad!!! SO BAD!!! There was a contest to win one of the 25 tickets and I didn’t win shit, and there will be no tickets on sale!! And the concert is in two days!!! I looked everywhere and couldn’t find anything.
Also, the new album cover is gonna be revealed in 2 days time… and we were going to get 4 different pictures for each day.
So I thought “COOL, 4 new brand pics for the album cover and the inserts“…. but NO!!! What they were doing was revealing parts of the picture for the album cover. So… what did I get??? Like 1/4 of a picture, where u can only see the arm!!!
